First held in 2000, the Handwerk + Form competition now is a triennial tradition organised by Werkraum Bregenzerwald. It is an integral part of our efforts to promote co-operations between craftspeople and designers, to enhance the quality of crafts products and to initiate more exhibitions and publications.
High quality standards in building and living and great awareness for the importance of materials and proportions have a long-standing tradition in the Bregenzerwald region. The Handwerk + Form competition seeks to bring this heritage to the spotlight and keep it alive. An exhibition showcasing all submissions is arranged alongside the competition.
